Capita delivers a bespoke diversity solution for Cemex UK

Capita People Development were selected to design and deliver a group wide diversity solution for the entire UK.

Cemex UK, a global leader in the supply of cement  ready-mixed concrete and aggregates has a UK supply network of over 500 locations.  As a company consisting of over 140 nationalities, Cemex was keen to explore how best to maximise the opportunity its diversity could bring into the workplace as a means of increasing its competitive advantage and building its brand as an Employer of Choice.  Cemex’s key objective was to proactively reach out to the 21st century UK labor force through its various UK operational outlets.
 
Capita People Development’s Diversity Practice worked in partnership with key Cemex stakeholders undertaking an initial process of diagnosis to ascertain their key needs, carefully mapping these into the design of a bespoke program of delivery.
