SmartPerform delivered over two days improves knowledge and behaviours in the business planning process

“As a private sector business, we place a great emphasis on our non-financial managers when it comes to business planning. We have tried every type of classroom course to try and teach financial skills to non-financial managers but nothing seems to work. Most of the financial courses have been very confusing. We want our senior managers to think more strategically but we have failed to find a solution that works for us”

Capita partnered us to design a SmartPerform solution based around both the needs of the business and the individuals. The SmartPerform programme was delivered over two days and the approach was entirely different to the ordinary types of training we have received before. The biggest change we noticed was how Capita designed a programme that focused on behaviours and not just knowledge and skills.

The feedback we received from the delegates was excellent. Our non-financial senior managers were placed in a fictional environment that was extremely fun, highly tailored to our business and it challenged them to apply their new skills strategically. The change in attitude and enthusiasm towards business planning exceeded our expectations as a result of this.
