The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the leading professional body in the development and promotion of good practice in the field of the management and development of people, for application both by professional members and by their organisational colleagues. Every CIPD member must commit themselves to adhere to the CIPD code of professional conduct which sets out the standards of professional behaviour.

ISO 9001 has become the international reference for quality requirements with certification, the preferred solution for over half a million organisations in 159 countries. The standard was revised in 2000 and was developed using a core set of eight quality management principles which act as a common foundation for all standards relating to quality management. LRQA was formed in 1985 to offer independent certification of management systems and currently hold 19 global accreditations to provide ISO 9001 as well as approval from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

The Association of Career Firms is a not for profit organisation, founded in 1996 to represent the interests of the European outplacement and career management industry. Since its inception it has developed into an important and influential trade organization, representing some 450 offices across the EU. Membership of ACF Europe requires companies to adhere to a code of conduct and ethics.
